We shall be providing a bouncy castle throughout the day, with a BBQ (weather dependant) from 5pm, and karaoke hosted by Martin Willingham from 7:30. During the evening, we shall have donation boxes available and will be holding a silent auction to raise money for GAIN charity (Guillain-Barré & Associated Inflammatory Neuropathies), and all profits from food sales will be donated.
We have some fantastic prizes and vouchers already kindly gifted for the auction, including a box of assorted wines, a bottle of champagne, tickets for a tour around Fullers brewery, a workshop for a patchwork/quilted cushion and others. 2010 Boxing Day Village Shoot
At 9am on Boxing Day a group gathered at the Crown for hot coffee and sausage sandwiches courtesy of Heather & Stephanie...
The temperature was -10 outside as the group headed down to the Nether Winchendon valley to take part in the early morning shoot. The weather was kind and transformed into a beautiful morning.
The group moved round the five stands and there were some excellent and not so excellent scores... After the shoot the group retired back the Crown to defrost and for some well deserved refreshment...
